Thick, very moist wipes ideal for babies with sensitive skin or nappy rash.
E45 Baby Wipes are being discontinued, but if you can buy these little gems before all stock goes you’ll find they’re gentle on eczema-prone skin and are designed to protect against nappy rash.
The E45 specialist range of products is well known to those of us with dry skin. These effective baby wipes, the E45 Baby Wipes (also known as Dermatological E45 Baby Wipes) are fragrance-free, hypoallergenic and good for babies or toddlers with delicate or sensitive skin. They’re also suitable if your little one is prone to eczema, and they're perfume free.
What we loved
E45 Baby Wipes are thick and extremely moist, and feel luxurious compared to some cheaper brands. I used them to wipe my baby's face when he had a sore nose and dry, red cracked skin after a never-ending cold, and they felt very gentle and soothing to use.
The wipes have been formulated to help protect against the causes of nappy rash, and certainly worked a treat on my baby's bottom, too! They're clinically tested, and approved by dermatologists and paediatricians. I also like the fact that the ingredients are paraben-free.
What to look out for
For around £2.50 for a packet of 72, there's no doubt these wipes are a little pricy compared to some others on the market. A resealable sticker keeps the pack closed and the wipes moist once they’ve been opened. However, I found the sticker didn't actually stay stuck down after it had been peeled up a few times. This meant that the top wipes were in danger of drying out, though fortunately they do seem to last better in contact with the open air than some others I've used.
Who are E45 Baby Wipes best for?
Mums with babies prone to eczema, dry or sensitive skin.
The experts behind the E45 range of products know all about keeping sensitive or irritable skin happy. These fragrance-free wipes are a godsend for mums whose babies have eczema. E45 Baby Wipes are also very effective even if your baby doesn't suffer from skin conditions. A packet that stayed sealed better would be a definite bonus though.
